The 14th "Jin Sanfa · Deyou · White Shark" Cup College Students' Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition on Nonwoven Materials Development and Application was recently held at Zhongyuan University of Technology in Zhengzhou City, Henan Province. The competition, with the theme of "Innovation and Sustainability", was organized by the China Industrial Textile Association, the China Textile and Apparel Education Society, Tianjin University of Technology, Zhongyuan University of Technology, and Zhejiang Jin Sanfa Group Co., Ltd., among others. 

The competition received a total of 265 entries from 38 universities, setting a new record. After the evaluation, a total of 1 special prize, 3 first prizes, 29 second prizes and 81 third prizes were awarded. Li Lingshen, the vice president of the China Textile Industry Federation, stated that the non-woven materials industry has significant value and hopes to use the event to connect the channels between talent cultivation and industrial demands, and cultivate young innovative and practical talents in the industry. Li Guimei, the president of the China Industrial Textile Products Association, explained the evaluation requirements. Ji Xiaofeng, the president of the China Textile and Clothing Education Society, said that they will further deepen the collaborative education mechanism between schools and enterprises and promote the implementation and transformation of students' innovative achievements.
